The Country Music Hall of Fame announced "Taylor Swift: Speak Now, Treasures from the World Tour" will debut June 9. Its no surprise to those who have seen the talented artist perform. Director of the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, Kyle Young was excited, saying, "Taylor Swift's Speak Now tour was one of the most successful tours in all of music." Young also commended Swift, "she has been an ambassador for country music, raising awareness of our genre literally around the globe."
Visitors to the exhibit will be able to examine many special elements from Swift's shows. The list includes a red Gibson Les Paul guitar played by Taylor Swift, the extravagant stage costumes and beautiful jewelry from events, and even the famous balcony Taylor would enter on at the end of her shows performing "Love Story."
Taylor is known for her exquisite talents as not only a leading country musician, but a top tier performer who can "make even the largest stadium shows an intimate experience," Young said.
Last week Taylor Swift also donated $4 Million to the organization to fund the Taylor Swift Education Center, scheduled to open in 2014. The donation was the second largest ever received by the organization and the largest ever contributed by a musician. The center is expected to be more than 7,500 square feet and stand two stories tall. Planned are 3 classrooms and a large exhibit space that will exponentially expand the youth education programs.
